About

Hi!

I'm Luis and I like making things, mostly for the sake of learning and because I enjoy solving problems. I'm a Mechanical and Automotive Engineer, but I'm really into electronics and programming. I've also worked as a freelance Product Design and CAD specialist.

This is my personal blog where I write at minimum one article per month about projects I'm working on, or things I'm learning. Mostly, long-form posts. The topics include hobby electronics, 3D printing, and programming. But sometimes I also get philosophical and write about personal development and reflections on life in general.

Writing takes time, but sometimes I post updates about my projects on Instagram while I'm working on them. If you are curious, you can follow me to see more details about what I do.

I also write more frequently on Medium.com, sharing shorter-form stories about programming and data analytics. Some of the content from this blog is also shared on Medium, but not the other way around.

I'm Venezuelan but have been living in Turin, Italy since 2016. When I'm not making stuff or learning about stuff, I am probably hanging out with my girlfriend, Uri, having drinks and food with some friends, or out for a hike or a short bicycle trip.

Uri and I actually started sharing some of the stuff we have made together, combining her passion for photography with a maker mindset. You may find more interesting stuff there as well.
