About

Let me give you a brief introduction of who I am and why I am doing this

Hi!

I'm Luis and I like making things and solving problems. I'm also a lifelong learner, and frequently study things on my own through books and online resources.

This is my personal blog where I write about projects I'm working on or things I'm studying. I use this corner of the internet to document what I do.

I have a broad range of interests, so here you might find things related to hobby electronics and 3D printing, or more (mechanical/automotive) Engineering-related stuff. I can also write about programming and post my notes while studying Data Science - I'm a complete nerd and I like learning about statistics and Machine Learning.

Writing takes time, but sometimes I post updates about my projects on Instagram while I'm working on them. If you are curious, you can follow me to see more details about what I do.

I also write more frequently on Medium.com, mostly about programming and data analytics, but also meta content about things I learn while maintaining this site. Some of the content from this blog is also shared on Medium, but not the other way around.

I'm Venezuelan but have been living in Turin, Italy since 2016.

I'm a Mechanical and Automotive Engineer, but I'm really into Data Science, electronics and programming. I've also worked as a freelance Product Design and CAD specialist.

When I'm not making stuff or learning about stuff, I am probably hanging out with my girlfriend, Uri, having drinks and food with some friends, or going out for a hike or a short bicycle trip.

Uri and I actually started sharing some of the stuff we have made together, combining her passion for photography with a maker mindset. You may find more interesting stuff there as well.
