Execute faster: a practical example
From Reel comments to sold product in two weeks.
This is what I did for a recent add-on I created: the Magnetic Puck for the Lite version of NODO.
I'll tell you how I approached the process to get quick feedback and move forward with the design in parallel.
The idea didn’t come from me sitting down to brainstorm.
It came from comments.
People on Instagram and TikTok kept pointing out the same thing:
needing a MagSafe charger just to use NODO Lite as a stand was a pity.
They were right.
So instead of overthinking it, I decided to test a simple solution: an add-on with a magnetic ring.
How it works
Step 1 — Build just enough to show it
Before fully refining the design, I made one clean, working prototype.
I ordered some magnetic rings from Amazon, made a quick CAD model in Fusion, and printed a few tests until it was in the right direction.
Not perfect. Just good enough to:
- take photos
- record videos
- show how it works
